Here is an order that i recently completed. My client sent me an email with 2 paintings that she really likes, and then she gave me free hands to interpret them to the best of my ability. I know I'm nowhere close to being an "Leonid Afremov" (Russian artist). But at least my client is happy with the result :).

Nursery decor!

My friend needed a present for a baby shower, and she found out the theme and sent me the picture on top. I then used that picture as inspiration and created 2 unique pieces for the little girl's nursery.
That truly makes a special gift for the parents to be - truly something that they can't buy at Target or Babiesrus.

Big mama flower pot!

I recently saw this painting called "Mother Nature", made by an artist called Natalia Skye (I have no idea who that is). The painting sells for 165 dollars, and there is no way I can afford that, but I really like the flowers so I was thinking maybe I can paint something similar onto a big pot. The pot shown in this picture is 11 inches tall and 12 inches wide. I think it will look really good with some big red flowers on it.

A different expecience!
Recently I had the pleasure to work with the owner of http://www.kikisol.com/
She needed a few designs for the upcoming season. Among others she needed me to do hand drawn versions of different wood grains. It was a very different experience. Pretty challenging actually. I'm looking forward to a future of new and exciting assignments!

My boring old suitcase...
I recently learned about a technique known as "decoupage". Don't be fooled by the fancy name, because it pretty much means "cut and paste". When I was looking around for ideas I was amazed at how many possibilities are out there, and I was immediately inspired to try it!!
Here is my first project - this is of course the "BEFORE" picture. Stand by for a picture of the finished version!!
What I would like to say is "look at this boring old suitcase and this lame old guidebook to Paris (I was hauling both of those items with me TO Paris and also from Paris).
The picture above shows the supplies needed.
